  • Photo / video policy
    Occasionally we will take videos or footage for training purposes. You will be informed before a class if it is being recorded. If any footage is used on social media children’s faces will not be detectable. Should we shoot promotional material you will be asked to sign a consent form (as per NSPCC guidelines) We will never publish any photos/videos with names or any other information. If you would like to take photographs/videos at a MiniJam session, we kindly request that you do your best to avoid other peoples children in the shot. Should you wish to release a photo online, permission should be granted from other parents/carers first if their children are in view.
  • Childrens Behavioural issues within a class
    MiniJam will always do our upmost to support parents / carers working through behavioural quirks / issues with their little one. If your little one is going through a challenging "phase", we kindly request that you remain close to them at all times during your MiniJam session in order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of other participants. Parents should feel comfortable and confident to remove their child from the class temporarily to recompose themselves when it feels necessary and rejoin the group when they have regained a sense of calm and control. MiniJam are more than happy to offer further support via phone or email and we do encourage you reach out if you are ever feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. Following our years of experience in early years education, we can offer judgement free, impartial advice from one mother to another.
  • Equipment hygiene
    We offer sanitising spray (safe to ingest) provided by MiniJam and encourage use of these before instruments are tidied away, particularly if children have been putting them in their mouths If your child has vomited within the last 48 hours you must not attend MiniJam for risk of infection to other babies & young children.
  • Verbal or physical abuse
    MiniJam promote equality for our parents and children. Any type of racial language or abuse will not tolerated and will be treated very seriously. Staff abuse will also not be tolerated. If a staff member feels attacked or under duress, the attendee will be asked not to return to MiniJam
  • Physical contact
    Because of the physical nature of our Classes and the age range of the children, a Class Teacher may, from time to time, use physical contact with the children within the session. By attending MiniJam you give you consent for this.

    At MiniJam, our music team wholeheartedly encourage children to listen, touch and play with the instruments and props used in our sessions as an important part of their early development. We kindly request that adults supervise and participate in our classes to ensure equipment is being used safely. Parents / carers must remain in loco parentis By signing up to a MiniJam session, parent/guardian confirm that they are responsible for the child/children's safety. MiniJam can accept no liability for any injury or damage suffered by any participant or any other person in Class. Members of the MiniJam team can not be held responsible for misuse of our equipment, particularly as many of the instruments used are not suitable for unsupervised play for under 3s. If, at any time, parent/guardian would prefer not to use one of MiniJams suggested stimulus, or feels it is not suitable for their child on that occasion, please do opt out during that song. We would like to make MiniJam a fun & rewarding experience for big people and little people alike!

  • How do I book?
    Visit our website or go directly to Our Booking Site to see dates/times & book. You can view future dates by scrolling down and clicking on the calendar icon.
  • Can I bring another adult?
    CLASSES Please bring along friend, partner, grandparent, aunt, uncle, long lost cousin! Providing space is available, all are welcome to join our classes for free. EVENTS Additional adults are most certainly welcome for a nominal additional fee: MiniJam events are generally child-friendly sessions aimed primarily for the enjoyment of parents / carers.
  • Flexipass
    How do I buy a flexipass (class pass)? Click here! I have a fleixpass, can I now just turn up or do i need to book? Once you have purchased your Flexible Class Pass you must book individual sessions whenever you fancy popping along. Your space is not, however, guaranteed unless you have purchased an entire Term Pass. To book in advance, you can select future dates by clicking on the calendar icon; I can no longer make my class, can I cancel and get a refund? Flexible Class pass holders will have their ticket reinstated into their pack provided they cancel within 2 hours of the start time. Alternatively you can transfer your ticket yourself by clicking "VIEW BOOKING" on your confirmation email receipt. How do I see how many passes I have left in my pack? View remaining passes by logging into your Bookwhen account (or via a confirmation email from MiniJam).
  • Cancelation policy
    ❗️ If your child has vomited within the past 48 hours please do not attend any MiniJam sessions. Single bookings Once you have booked, you may transfer your ticket using the 'view booking' button on your email confirmation. Transfers or cancelations are available up to 2 hours before the start of your class. You will be refunded within 10 working days. Flexible Class pass holders Once you have booked, you may transfer your ticket using the 'view my booking' button on your email confirmation. Transfers or cancelations are available up to 2 hours before the start of your class. Cancelled tickets will be reinstated into your pack Term Passes can not be refunded, however we can transfer you to different class time or venue should you circumstances change after committing to the term Discounted tickets - Unfortunately we can not offer refunds or ticket transfers on discounted tickets Private Bookings - Should you wish to cancel or reschedule a private booking with MiniJam you may do so via email. * One week cooling off period = full refund (minus small transaction fee) * <14 days prior to the performance date = refund less holding fee (£65) or reschedule * 0-14 days prior to the performance date = no refund but you may reschedule 3rd party booking sites may have different cancellation policies to MiniJam.

    If you are interested in hiring a MiniJam musician for your little ones birthday / Christening / Naming Ceremony / Summer Party / Christmas Party / Wednesday Why Not Party we'd love to be part of the party!     We can not provide free taster sessions, however we do offer 30% discount at classes for our new minijammers.
